Fine stationery

If there were ever a reason for why fine stationery exists, it would be for a wedding. In order to make sure the stationery used for weddings is – in fact – fine stationery, you should check on the following things:

• Where is it coming from – It might be best to order all of your fine stationery from the same vendor. Doing this will allow you to have an easier time matching style and design aspects. It could even save you money if the vendor gives you a discount for ordering more items. The vendor you choose to use could be an online vendor or somebody who has an actual store. Often, you might be able to find better deals on fine stationery online simply because online stores do not have the same overhead costs.

• Choose stationery that complements – The fine stationery you choose should look nice on its own, but it also should complement other printed materials that you have. This means that save-the-date cards, invitations and programs will all be more effective if they are complemented by your fine stationery. You may want to go ahead and buy your “Thank You” stationery as well before the wedding in order to ensure that it also works well with your other purchases.

• High quality is important – Chances are you are going to need to have fine stationery for a wedding. Any extra effort into formality adds a sense of occasion to an event and can make it more memorable for some. There is not a lot of faking this. Fine stationery should feel as good as it looks. It also needs to be able to absorb ink well. If the paper is not of a high quality, it could tear easily. Also, the ink might look fuzzy when printed on the paper. These invitations much also withstand the current posting standards and travel sometimes across the country. Having a watermark on the paper is another sign of quality.

Remember when buying fine stationery for a wedding that the quality as well as the quantity of the paper is important. It might be wise to buy a little more stationery than you think you will need in order to make changes if mistakes on one piece of stationery are made.
